Baptism is a way to publicly share your faith story that symbolizes the death of your old life and the birth of your new life in Jesus.

Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about baptism at Wedgewood Park Church:

  • We do not believe baptism saves anyone; rather, it is a public testimony of how Jesus has already saved you

  • We prefer to submerge people underwater for baptism, but we will apply water through dropping or pouring

  • We baptize both infants (as a sign of God's covenant grace toward the infant) and adult believers

  • We can baptize on-site during a weekend experience or off-site during a special baptism

  • We do ask that you share your faith story as part of your baptism; this may be delivered live in person or via video recording
